My Journey to Opening My Practice
My path into psychology was shaped not only by education and training, but by the people and community that have always felt like home to me — Fort McMurray.
Living and working in this community has shown me, time and again, the strength, resilience, and compassion that people carry, even through hardship. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions, and I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone finally feels safe enough to be truly heard.
As my work evolved, I knew I wanted to offer care that felt thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply human. Opening my own private practice allowed me to create a space that reflects these values — a place where therapy is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to each person’s unique experience and pace.
My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is not linear, and that seeking support is a meaningful act of courage. I feel honoured to support individuals from Fort McMurray and surrounding communities as they navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward the lives they want to live.
Services
We provide general mental health assessments, as well as counselling services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families- parent/teen. The therapy approaches used are tailored to the client to meet their specific needs. Our schedules are flexible with daytime, evening, and some Saturday appointments available. Our services are covered by most insurance plans, and booking is simple; it can be done online or by phone.
Distance is never a barrier to receiving the care you deserve. Virtual appointments are available for clients across Alberta. Your well-being is just a click away.
Our counselling session fees are in line with the recommended fee schedules of the Psychologist’s Association of Alberta and the Association of Counselling Therapists of Alberta. Your well-being is our priority, and this ensures you receive the highest standard of care while adhering to industry standards.

Insurance
Direct billing services are available for the following insurers: Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, Chambers of Commerce, Claim Secure, Desjardins, Equitable Life, Green Shield, Group Source, Manulife, Medavie Blue Cross, People’s Corp., and Sunlife.
Please be advised that if your insurance provider is not included in our list, kindly notify us. It is important to note that certain insurance companies may not allow for direct billing. Any amount that is not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the client.
